At El Agavero Restaurant: The aroma is soft with cooked agave, and vanilla, but with prominent ethyl sting while the taste is soft and not complex with cocoa, vanilla, citrus, slightly vegetal, a minute lick of unidentifiable fruit, brine and a alcohol taste slightly reminiscent of rubbing alcohol. A bit too sweet and easy to drink for me to enjoy regularly but overall I feel this would be up a novice tequila lovers alley in the beginning of their journey.

This is a typical example of a NOM 1438 brand. All unnaturally sweet, cloying, fake fruit, vanilla cake batter. Pepper is present on the finish on all expressions with this line. At the point of tasting this, NOM 1438 has 185 brands. What sets them all apart? The Name and bottle design. If you like sweet, these will satisfy you. For those looking for traditional, well made tequila this is a hard pass

Good tequila for your money, and the bottle is great also. I dont get to much in the smell but once you drink it is sweet and pleasant. Good finish with taste

On the nose it smells sweet. You get the vanilla, floral, fruity aroma with a slight hint of citrus. After sipping it clean, going down it does put some hairs on your chest BUT the finish is sweet with some white pepper kick and a hint of caramel and cinnamon. It opened my sinuses lol In a mixed drink, I put it in my tequila sunrise. I didn’t taste the tequila (a generous amount was added) which means it’s DANGEROUS LOL The sweetness blends too well with the ingredients.

Soft nose… some sweet agave, earth and brine. Touch of acetone. Medium mouthfeel. Smooth and sweet with a bit of caramel and dark chocolate followed by cracked-pepper, citrus and bitter grapefruit. Quick and dry cinnamon-spice finish with a hint of artificial sweetener aftertaste.
