Nose: Quite a lot going on. Jammy ripe fruit, orange or mandarin citrus notes, dry minerals, some lactic nuance and some cider. Flavor: A vivacious palate of white pepper, almond paste, sweet agave and vanilla. Semi oily and on the sweet side - but naturally so. Finish: Peppery, silky pleasing finale.

Mexican 38% abv. versión, lote: 13240919, bottled on 05-01-2023, tasted on 6-5-24. Aromas: light sweet cooked agave, hint of acidity, light citrus, light fruitiness, after 20 minutes in the glass a light white floral aroma emerges, hint of sourness, crisp & clean, reminds me of Calle 23 Criollo but lighter bodied. Hint of white pepper. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, hint of fruitiness and white floral aromas through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of sweet cooked agave, hint of acidity, hint of citrus with light fruity aromas persist.
