Found this one in Patterson CA. Desmadres is slang for a big mess. Great name for tequila. A little alcohol on the aroma and then a lot of complexity. Nice aroma. The taste is the best of pepper and agave that’s a bit sweet. Great taste. Finish is long and nice.

very thick for a repo, but good! lot's of oak and caramel on both sides with a smooth finish! bargain!!!

Nice, thick mouthfeel, with vanilla and cantaloupe aromas and flavors. A little more barrel flavors than I like in a repo- not as agave forward as I like- but very pleasant and drinkable.

A colleague of mine visited NOM1519 on 10-4-24 and was able to buy tequilas from this distillery only in generic bottles because they export all their production. He was told that the agaves used are from Guanajuato and that they are currently producing DesMaDre, Deleon & Reserva de Mexico brands. No lot code, 40% abv., tasted on 10-7-24. Color: light yellow. Aroma: light herbaceousness, minerality, hard water, light wood note, slightly astringent, whiff of sweetness maybe from the barrel. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, whiff of smoke at the beginning that dissipates, herbaceous & minerality with light vanilla sweetness. I smell light waxy notes similar to Clynelish Scotch whisky, which is one of my favorite Scotch brands, however, my notes are from a tequila perspective. Wood and herbaceous notes slightly dominate. Finish is medium to almost medium long, above mentioned aromas and flavors persist, light caramel, I could hardly smell or taste agave notes.

quite a bit of alcohol on the nose. sweeter than I expected reminding me of an añejo. vanilla and cinnamon but the sweetness makes me skeptical of additives. who knows I certainly don’t but it was tasty regardless as I had it after dinner.

Dark colour. Very smooth and a tad sweet for my taste but still excellent. Lots of Vanilla. Would definitely buy again.

Little on the darker side for a repo,. nice and thick in the glass leaving long legs. Nose is wood, spice, alcohol and roasted agave as is the taste. Good mouth feel, warm and spicy with a long finish leaving wood spice and agave.
