I thought on an initial sniff that this might be thin and hot as it has some strong alcohol on the nose but after a minute or two in the Glencairn this has a nice roast yam back to it. A bit of cinnamon shows and some barrel spice of caramel and oak as well. Alcohol is there on the tongue but works to carry the spice. A nice finish that features a bit of agave pepper rounds this out.

Nice balance of used American oak and agave, this is sneaky smooth. Perfect gateway drug for new tequila converts, absolutely no bite to scare them off!

Nose is cooked agave, alcohol and caramel. Taste is cooked agave, oak and caramel. The glass was a Chisholm Standard Proof Jarrito

Vanilla on the nose with Pepper, cinnamon and alcohol on the tongue. Not bad but not great. Better stuff available for the price.

Some caramel, some oak, a little barrel spice and some agave. After a few more tastings, I bumped the score up a little. Not bad.
