Agave on the nose with citrus and earth. I get vanilla, herbal and butter. I get some fruit, maybe banana. On the palate, sweet agave, vanilla and black pepper. I get earthy notes with minerals and vegetal tones. It is a bit grassy. Definitely some alcohol. This is a decent tequila but nothing special.

Good cooked agave presence on the nose but some alcohol coming through with a touch of vanilla. Palate is even better with sweet agave and nice bright citrus notes solid viscosity and a slightly peppery finish.

Nose of lime zest, vegetal and citrusy, with a clean minerality to it. Taste of sweet cooked agave, quite mild, but very clean with a nice consistency. Ends on a finish of spice and pepper, with some alcohol bite to it. Leaves a pleasant warmth, and the flavors on the finish linger for quite a while.

Updated from an initial tasting. This tequila has grown on me. Nose is light. A little agave and citrus and some green grassy notes... grapefruit, pineapple and melon? The flavor is a little pop of agave and pepper with a lot more citrus. Again, melon and tart fruits... grapefruit. I get a little bit of minerality and green notes as well. Very citrusy finish that lasts. After giving this another go, my opinion has definitely changed for the better. More flavor and depth. A good lesson to let tequila breathe awhile. The price point in the PNW is okay. I think I paid about $40ish, so there are other tequilas I might reach for first, but this is certainly worthy. Overall it’s a winner.

Wonderful blanco. Mouth is is dominated by cooked agave and anise which i happen to enjoy. It gives way to butter and brown sugar, while still having a raw, herbaceous taste. Every sip gets better.

Scent is richer and more noticeable than others with a unique and very welcoming character; raw taste is immediately smooth that hints at having too strong a taste but suddenly steps back and says “enjoy me”; added to the margarita this makes the entire drink very tasty and well deserving of having a second.

This one has a nice floral nose that becomes mineral and vegetal. It’s is cool how it changes. Nice agave flavors with citrus and mineral hit. It’s a good sipper. The finish is short with a little spice. Very good!

This nose really changes as it opens up. First few minutes were strong vegetal root, raw agave, a little carrot (down by the stem), and weaker cooked agave. Now an hour later the nose is more vanilla, agave, and a fainter sweet cream. Palate is ok, this stuff could break 90 if it had more viscosity, was more oily, more chewy. It’s a little thin. Maybe an overproof of this would rate higher. It finishes though, long-ish and balanced with pepper and agave. This stuff belongs on the top of the middle shelf. If you see it, buy it, just don’t go out of your way for it. Beautiful bottle and label.
