Aroma: slight hint of caramel and alcohol. Flavor: mainly vanilla and caramel and a hint of black pepper. Medium finish.

This review is not for the tequila pictured here in the app, which is an inferior tequila. You want the tall bottle - like the blanco and añejo pictured here. Nose: Ripe dark cherries, a faint peach note, caramel, light baking spices and earthy mustiness. Flavors: This starts with a big blast of black pepper and hot barrel spice with some bitterness. Some vanilla follows, cooling the palate a notch or two. There is an undercurrent of hazelnuts. Finish: Black pepper lingers and the vanilla and caramel try to meld together with the heat - but it lacks balance. Not a run of the mill sip.

aroma: citrus, cleaner, alcohol, cleaner solution, light agave sweetness taste: caramel, sweet, harsh finish but overall easy to sip Really don't taste or smell anything that has to do with aging.

We had the John Chapman old school bottle with a metal label. Lots of vanilla with some boozy heat in the smell. Taste is vanilla, caramel, mild agave. Smooth. Could use more agave flavor though. Somewhat light.

Supper Club! 2002. A little hot and perfumy smell. Hot taste with interesting citrus lemon notes. Heat on the tongue into finish.

Black front label, marbete is from year 2006. 1L 35% abv. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, vanilla, alcohol sensation is medium low, slightly earthy, at the end the vanilla aroma dominates, but it smells natural from the barrel. Palate: vanilla pretty much dominates but is not cloying, at the end light cooked agave note and slightly bitter note appear. Finish is medium, vanilla notes persist.

lo probe a 35% vol/alc version mexicana, sabe demasiado diluido, pero si probara el de 40% debe tener un sabor decente creo yo

Not a bad tequila but not the best either. Not much agave aroma or taste, mainly mild caramel. Got it at a good price and would consider buying it again.
