NOM 1586 | My first dud bottle. Clear signs of either oxidation or heat exposure. Nose is actually quite sweet. Very little alcohol left, but light agave is still present along with pepper albeit dull. Texture is watery with bitter finish. If nothing else, an enlightening educational bottle.
Since my video review, I've upgraded to an 84. This funky stuff grows on you
NOM 1586 | Flat aromas of agave, citrus & pepper Flavor it’s a fun mix of citrusy flavors; grapefruit, orange, tangerine & lime Briny/metallic finish Good for cocktails, decreased points due to high price for what if offers
NOM 1586 | I really like this. Nice agave up front (baking spices) nice peppery backend. Great taste very surprised. Definitely something to try.
Solid blanco with good minerality some citrus and agave in the aroma. Taste is good with some dark sweetness but plenty of agave and earth. Finish is ok. Thanks Hugo at Baja Betty’s for the taste!
NOM 1586 | A nice blanco, nothing exceptional. True to its form. Shows well.
NOM 1586 | Peppercorn, green agave
The aroma was strong of alcohol so i let it open up for a bit and the agave came through. It tasted how I suspected based on the aroma. Baked agave, pepper and alcohol. It was a bit hot as it stung my throat a bit. It was sweeter than i expected, so i suspect maybe some glycerin, but not sure. This was a bit thin and presented almost like a reposado.
NOM 1558 | Another brand I’m on the fence with, not good or bad, just right down the middle. I get agave but not that rich flavour I’m looking for, seems a little watered down.
NOM 1586 | Nose: Fruit and agave, a mineral note, and some floral undertones. Palate: Semi oily, spicy with pepper, and some almond-like hints. A touch of pineapple.
Wood Tavern Berkeley, CA easy sipper with balanced spice and sweetness ending in a quick, dry finish.
Very nice aroma, agave, sweetness, light earth. Flavor is on the light side but agave and flowers come through. Finish is long and has some spice.
NOM 1414 | Big floral notes in the nose and mouth with this NOM1414 bottle from a few years ago.
NOM 1414 | NOM 1414.
NOM 1414 | NOM 1414. NOM 1414.
NOM 1414 | This taste of Chamucos came from NOM 1414. While the nose is a bit more complex than the taste, there is a lot of nice earth, agave, and pepper in this blanco, and is a nice example of the tequilas from Arandas. The nose also has a bit of a cake batter element that some people will dig too. I love the long and intense finish, but my only dig on this tequila was that I found a bit too much bitterness in the finish for my personal taste. Other than that, I still have not come across a tequila that has been made by Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados NOM (1414), that I have not liked - Good Stuff!
NOM 1586 | Nose is cream and agave .Taste is agave forward with a slight hint of alcohol. Nose is better than taste.
Nose is cooked agave, malactic and citrus. Taste is cooked agave, malactic and a little pepper. The glass was a Chisholm Standard Proof Jarrito.
Solid but not overwhelming. White pepper and a bit of a funky nose. Hints of cooked agave, mint, a bit muted finish
Absolutely love the funk on this. I can see it being a turn off, but it's for me!
NOM 1558 | I had edit my rating since it doubled in price from $22 to $45
NOM 1586 | Smooth, weak flavor, light finish.
NOM 1586 | Great value, the smell is floral, light cheese and citrusy. The taste is citrusy, peppery and agave and smooth; yet, it left a tingling sensation in mouth which I loved. The finish is long, very enjoyable. I highly recommend for the price ($22+).
NOM 1586 | Aroma. Cooked agave Taste: clean, agave cooked, citrus, pepper & mineral

NOM 1586 | Chamucos Blanco 40% ABV NOM1586 - Organic - Additive Free Alliance On the nose I get some fresh agave and a malolactic note. There’s some celery, minerals and white pepper too. I taste sweet cooked agave, citrus zest, white almonds and white pepper. It has a nice body on the palate. The finish is sweet agave and mild pepper. Overall I enjoy the flavor more than the nose. It has a good mouthfeel and the flavors are well balanced. It’s a simple sipper and cocktail ready.
