This tequila is really hard to sip because it goes down so easily. It's almost too smooth so it leaves me wanting more.
Aromas are subtle - mint, citrus, floral, earth. Heat/spice flavor is upfront the minute this hits your tongue then settles back into a smooth, almost buttery flavor. I also taste something slightly bitter at the end. Not necessarily unpleasant but not necessarily something I seek out either. Finish is all in the mouth and moderately long. Updated 8/15/2015
40% abv., lot: LOTE089BDA, tasted on 6-7-24. Aromas: light acidity, light citrus, light sourness, hint of fruitiness, after 15 minutes in the glass a light cooked agave aroma emerges, this aroma appears to me as the newer NOM1480 with an unnatural sweetness on the nose that is not as sweet on the palate rather strong mineral/slightly metallic and ends a tad bitter. The same type of aroma and sensation is quite similar across all the recent brands from this same NOM.

I get a great valley style agave presence on the nose but has a hint of a medicinal note in the background. Flavor is excellent with none of medicinal notes in the flavor what so ever. very smooth with an excellent mouth feel.
