Mexican 38% abv. versión, LOTE CCR 30/12, bottled on 30/06/12, tasted on 8-2-24. Color: dark yellow to light brown. Aroma: piloncillo, hint of vanilla, acidity, light citrus, light wood note, light orange, after 20 minutes in the glass light cooked agave aroma emerges together with light orange blossom, minty sensation keeps it fresh. Light resinous sweetness, light fruitiness, however, wood note also becomes more dominating. Unsweetened black tea. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance, orange blossom through my retronasal, unfortunately wood note is slightly active. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave with light orange, orange blossom, hint of vanilla with light fruity aromas persist.
