Not a lot of flavor or complexity

Ummm. Why does this taste like stale Christmas candy? Aroma is non existent and taste is just weird. Finish…please stop.

Very light amber color in the glass. Aroma of cooked agave, citrus and oak. Flavor of cinnamon and oak. Seems a bit artificial. Finish on the short side.

It taste like lemon grass, coconut, pear and citrus mix with agave thru the taste and finish

nose of oak, butter and caramel. much nicer nose than the blanco. no bad burn. sweet on the tongue. almond, oak, vanilla and sweet caramel. a solid sipper.

Diffuser made tequila that has some chemical/medicinal notes. The aftertaste is unacceptable. Day 4 of The Tequila Advent Calendar 2014.

Smooth pears. Really like it. Different.

A bit of a spicy feel in the mouth, but kind of a lingering antiseptic burn. I'm not picking up much of a nose at all. I'd rather spend my $35-40 on something else.

very smooth and easy to drink but not so many big flavours. little to no afterburn.

Good Tequila, quite sweet.

Some spice, weak finish, unknown aftertaste.

Heavy black pepper flavor. Good, but tastes artificial.

I enjoy this tequila with a good cigar and it is my go to for that reason.

Medicinal tasting Taste the alcohol

This tequila has a smooth and woody after taste with a smooth kick at the end. For me this tequila is good for sipping not taking shots. Because I won’t enjoy it

Sweet on the nose- fruity pear like. Not much agave but present. On the palate, pear flavor comes through and sweet. Mouth feel was fair, finish was short, almost mint like but bitter after taste. I did not pick up agave on the flavor. Not my favorite.

Soft nose, some agave, some alcohol. Thick mouthfeel. Warm peppery spice that mellows through the finish.

nose: cooked agave taste: starts sweet with notes of cooked agave and oak finish: Medicinal Disappointed! Not the three generations I remember.

Not bad as a daily sip

Aroma: Citrus, agave forward. Oaky. Strong pepper taste. Closer to a repo than a blanco.

Oak orange very pepper taste

Light, fruity, mellow accommodating taste.

This is for the new bottlings and look . This is actually a really nice reposado, tasty , hints of tropical fruit and light wood. None of that fake additives stuff of vanilla caramel cotton candy stuff , thank God . I’m back in board with Sauza’s Tres Generacions . Yes sir !

Aroma is very basic, agave, slight vanilla and lime zest. Flavor is strong pepper upfront and continues to linger throughout the sip. In fact it over powers all the other flavors. Throughout that pepper madness, other flavors make their way in, but aren’t enjoyable either. The vanilla is clearly artificial, even a bit chemically. Then down the hatch ..a lime zest finishes with the pepper to just remain on the tongue. Not a good sipper, stopped half way through and made a cocktail. Which this tequila in my option is made for, mixed drinks only. But for the price, there are better options.
