Almost clear in the glass. Hard to believe it's a reposado. The first aroma detected is vanilla, then grass and last is cooked agave. Flavor of black pepper, oak and cooked agave. Medium finish. Additives are apparent.

Smells like alcohol and hangover. Tastes the same. No thanks

Aroma is spicy as hell but has some caramel sweetness. The taste is what you’d expect at this level, slight buttery caramel ethanol diffuser, better than the blanco but still bites you with pepper. It has a slightly sweet finish, wait until your third sip then you’ll really know how you feel about it. I will not buy again because there are more choices available to me but if I was in a pinch I’d grab this to mix margaritas for the “don’t knows”.

On the nose, agave is there but there’s a medicinal quality that is very off putting. Some vanilla, caramel, and then a good bit of ethanol. There’s an earthy note, but the medicinal and ethanol drown it out. On the palate, I am immediately hit with that medicinal, agave flavor. This is incredibly “smooth”, I’ll give them that. Some caramel and vanilla, and a slight metallic tang. This tequila is all about “almost”. The aroma is almost very nice. The flavor hits good notes but it’s drowned out by the medicinal and metallic notes. The finish is okay, almost serviceable. This isn’t good, but it almost is serviceable.

Aroma : Alcohol, agave, and oak. Some medicinal aromas as well. Taste : Very little agave and vanilla and some oak. But there is a ton of alcohol, medicinal/chemical notes here that overpower any good flavors you would look for in a Reposado. Hot and unappealing profile. Finish : Short with a ton of alcohol/artificial notes and barely any agave. The only thing this tequila has going for it is the fact that it isn't a mixto. Even then there doesn't seem to be any point in buying this if there are so many better tequilas at this price range.

Starts with a moss and chemical aromas. Flavor is flat and unfinished.

Earthy, mossy, medicinal. A sweet hit, no agave present on the body. Little to no mouth feels without any linger or complexity.

The barrel helps temper the chemical taste a bit but this could use some work.

A very inexpensive buy at Costco. I was really surprised with the smoothness in the finish.

I was going to go into the nuisances of the flavor and aroma profiles, but the *aroma* turned me off. The flavor is much better than its sibling, but tastes *too* sweet. If I were to buy this again, I would use it for mixed drinks.

Nose is mild, fairly pleasant with vegetal and vanilla notes. Taste has slight agave with definite oak. Alcohol finish arrives in a harsh, unpleasant way.

Subtle notes of oak on the nose, but more vanilla and alcohol than anything. A little butterscotch on the palate that gives way to a heavy dose of pepper and alcohol that clings on through the finish. I’m not getting much agave at all. Not particularly great, but not the worst I’ve had either.

Better on the nose- vanilla, little oak, dull agave Palate- very thin, watery. Can Taste vanilla- and a little agave- Finish- any agave flavor is short lived, bit harsh in the finish. Definitely a mixer, not for sipping. Included my room stay at a resort . other wise I wouldn’t buy.
