Anis, alcohol and agave on the nose, light oak color. Bitter taste, harsh peppery finish. I’ll finish this bottle as a mixer.
It has a very fruity taste to it which is different. Depending on the drink you are making could be a good mixer or if you like this profile it may work for you
Very floral on the nose, carnations and gardenias along with an undercurrent of oak. Some slight bitterness on entry and the finish leaves a saccharin note that I don't care for. The guy who owns/owned this brand is in charge of the Rock's Teremana so be warned.
Flavor is okay but not much on the nose and no finish. A little agave and pepper but no complexity and no depth of flavor.
Better than the silver. Decent agave and wood taste. But the finish is very harsh still. Second tasting 10/1/22: raised score a couple points. Definitely smoother on the finish and better tasting. Aroma pretty good.
Sweet, nutty, taste like an Oh Henry bar! I like the flavours going on but not for tequila, it just doesn’t scratch my itch.
A balanced tequila with mellow aroma of cherry, vanilla and tropical fruits. The body is light. The flavor brings back all the aromas mixed with agave. The finish is short.
Very faint aroma, kinda difficult for me to pick out any dominant aromas. Overall it is balanced, but it feels like a pretty safe flavor profile.
Nose: First pass is quite astringent. Some fruit and spice are finally coaxed out with a few more swirls of the glass. Bitterness and astringency persist on the palate. Not much depth.
It's ok but at this price have had much better
GLASS: A very pale repo. Thin thin legs. AROMA: Green agave and alcohol, with a hints of vanilla, caramel and some minor floral notes. There's not much going on in the flavor or finish. Getting very light pepper/spice on the sides of the tongue. The dryness of tannins from the wood is noticeable compared to the blanco. It's not bad, it's just not very interesting. It seems to have been crafted to be smooth and inoffensive, presumably to non-tequila drinkers.
Lots of banana, fairly clean, super limited after taste.
Agave aroma and flavor. More than the blanco. Fruity, woody taste. Finish is still harsh.
It has a hint of something spicy, almost like cinnamon. Clean finish with an aftertaste like citrus.
This was my first tequila reposado purchase. Very smooth. Very Tasty. Sip to enjoy the flavors It goes down smooth and easily and doesn’t burn. I liked the aromas. Reminded me of the warmth of the holidays. Flavors of spices, caramel, vanilla & hints of cinnamon. In some ways seems like it’s a sweeter tequila I would re-purchase again
Smell: Agave and alcohol with a hint of caramel. Palate: oak, pepper, agave, with some floral hints. After taste: medicinal, pepper, wood This simply went from fair to terrible
Tasting notes: earthy, vegetal and caramel finish
I thought the bartender gave me liquid cotton candy
Bottle: 207A, Bottle No. 423 Appearance: Medium straw Nose: Alcohol, oak, faint agave and vanilla…I really have to be patient to notice anything Palate: Wood, alcohol, baking spices, faint agave and vanilla but I can’t detect any dried fruits as described on the label…creamy mouthfeel but flavors are fleeting and the wood/alcohol predominate Finish: Alcohol, sweet, medicinal…over quickly and overpowered by the alcohol Overall: This was not a balanced or complex pour…not completely terrible, but not worth purchasing again. I was really surprised at just how faint the aroma was and how quickly the flavors disappeared. I’ll probably use the rest of this bottle as a mixer for margaritas.
Vanilla and bread and oak. It doesn’t burn, so it’s imminently drinkable, but it’s muddled and a little unclear as to what it’s trying to be. Bottles at half the price are twice as good.
nothing wrong with it. nothing exciting.
Good mouth feel. Oak flavoring and good sipper.
Just okay to me. Drank at a friend’s house. Would not buy myself.
Rubber and vanilla on the nose. Unremarkable flavors. Easy pass here.

Vessel: Wee Glencairn Nose: Sawdust, Alcohol, Anise, Butter, Elmer's Mouthfeel: light to medium bodied Palate: Cinnamon, Mint, Artificial Spearmint Finish: Spearmint, Black Pepper, Medicinal Anise I don't think a tequila should have a similar Finish to a tic tac or chewing gum with added medicinal or artificial influence. Not a fan
