901 Tequila, noted for its award-winning and critically acclaimed 901 Silver, and Palm Bay International, one of North America’s premier wine and spirits importers, are proud to introduce 901 Reposado and 901 Anejo to North America.
Having to rate this low even though it is the 1173 non diffuser release from the brand's infancy. Can't seperate the 1102 ratings from 1173 and no difussor product deserves more than 60 tasted sighted. Quite viscous in the mouth this blanco from 2010 or so is peppery and rich in agave. Current Suaza 901 pales but is representitive of the Sauza brand as a whole these days. This early stuff is actually some of the better 1173 juice these days as well, as they have resorted to additives and a diffuser to deal with costs these days. If you can find an old bottle of this look for a Diab Importers bottles for US consumers. Not bad at all.
