Tried this at Total Wine San Matias tasting. Aroma is highlighted by plum, apple, caramel and baking spice. Buttery mouthfeel. The apple, plum, caramel and baking spice carry over on the palate but cherry really comes through. Tropical fruit and herbal notes follow. Nicely balanced and complex. Beautiful presentation but high price point (over $400) gets it a 3 on value
This one is interesting nose of agave, cinnamon, mint(peppermint), and a sweetness like cream brûlée. The palette is interesting with a watery mouthfeel involving cooked agave, cinnamon, some kind of citrus zest, mint and pepper.
Tasted in Mexico in 2019. A good mixto, but too sweet for my preference. As a result, I wouldn't drink again or recommend, so it loses many points.
