More one note than the reposado this is still a solid sip. According to Tommy Andazola this is a solid cigar sipper for those who do that. Barrel spice, agave but it doesn't build on the reposado at all. Thanks TA
Nice organic reposado that has some interesting spice of cinnamon, allspice, oak and sweet agave. Some slight numbing on the finish rounds out a pleasant experience.
Very nice organic product comparable to the Don Abraham from the same distillery. Agave notes on the nose with lots of agave in the mouth. Nice for a local AZ distribution.
40% abv., LOTE181BDA, tasted on 4-3-24. Aroma: raw agave, grassy, herbaceous, strong minerality, earthy, after 15 minutes the agave note becomes sweeter and after 30 minutes in the glass it opens up and becomes slightly fruity. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, strong mineral taste and aroma that dissipates, green vegetal notes, through my retronasal I get a hint of elderflowers. Fresh & crisp. Finish is medium to medium long, raw agave, green vegetal with herbaceous notes persist.
Lots of oak on the nose, with some cooked agave following it. Flavor is oak heavy with some agave, then finally finishing with some spices. Reminds me more of a whiskey.
Very light agave and oak smell. Initial tastes of agave, pepper, and oak. I taste some very faint baking spice on the finish.
