Very unique and funky profile. Aroma is herbaceous, raw agave, with nuances of truffle and cheese. Wonder how the fermentation was… The taste will be very different with a harmonious balance of sweet natural notes, peppermint, subtle spice notes and some bitterness at the end.

El pintor nom 1137 tasted blind in pepe's tahona blind 2/25/23 Note: these samples were 1/2 oz so it was a bit challenging to get the full essence. I let it sit about 20 mins to open. Strong nose. Not the smell i like. It's funky, Grassy, vegetal, some pepper, mint Taste is sweet agave with a weird aftertaste. Short finish. This was in the bottom 3 (of 8 tasted blind) for me. in all fairness, I would like to try this again with a larger pour to get a more accurate rating

Raw agave on the nose. This is followed by the raw agave, some pepper, and some minerality. The finish is of medium length and the main character is still the raw agave. This has a touch of alcohol burn mid chest, this is slightly higher proof, but the heat is not off putting. If you enjoy raw agave, as opposed to cooked agave, you should enjoy this.

No LOTE T-001. L11032113. Aroma: raw herbal agave, strong acidity, strong mineral note, earthy. Palate: raw agave, black pepper, strong minerality, strong acidity, at the end it is slightly acidic & bitter. Alcohol sensation is medium high. Finish is medium to medium long, light raw agave & light acidic note persist.
