Nose has a lot of cake batter and vanilla. Taste is the same. Very smooth but not in a good way. Casamigos-level sweet. Packaging on this tequila says additive free but aroma and flavor suggest otherwise? If I drank this blind I’d say it’s a cristalino, even though it’s billed as a plata. Unusual, for certain. A tequila for people who don’t like the flavor of tequila. I respect those people, and their tastes, but I am not those people.

I’ve tried many tequila’s and OTACA is by far the best and smoothest tequila I’ve ever tried. I’ve given it to my friends who don’t like tequila and now they prefer OTACA over everything.

Additive bomb, strong vanilla. Stay away its fake. They say additive free, that's a lie.

This is my favorite tequila for many reasons, it has Zero additives. The smell is sweet and smooth, the taste is also incredibly smooth. I prefer it with an orange slice, on the rocks. I find the value is spot on, we served this tequila as the drink of choice at my wedding and people still talk about the fantastic cocktails to this day.

Come on guys a 99, a 100?!? Laughable. So I’m up late one night and the TV is going on in background and I see some infomercial for this brand where they’re trying to attract “investors” for the brand. I didn’t check the app to learn more about them but now that I’ve tasted it I wouldn’t be surprised if the people leaving these high scores are the “founders” or investors of the brand themselves trying to drive up the score As for the tequila, it smells a little too sweet, not unpleasant just unnatural Taste: Definitely gives me the impression that it has additives. A previous reviewer said it reminded them of Casamigos and I feel that is pretty spot on. Finish: Is pretty short, so if you’re not the biggest tequila fan you might enjoy the fact that there is no lingering taste. In the end this is all marketing. They market themselves as a high end premium product (and the bottle design may lend someone to believe it is) but it is anything but that. Just look at the nom and you will see it is made at a distillery that makes many other brands that ultimately are nothing special. In fact many of these other brands are known to have additives, like Cava de Oro, so I’m willing to bet this does as well despite their claim not to.

I’ve never tasted any tequila like this before. Smooth is an understatement no need for a mixer here. Just a rock and orange twist and you’re in heaven.
