Sweet. Lacks character.

NOM 1426. Its good. Absolutely not disappointing but it's missing earthy vibe that the reposado has. A little on the sweet side. If you're an oak lover look elsewhere. They've changed NOMs twice since I reviewed this.

NOM 1137 | A very decent tequila but it would have tricked me in a blind test. It has more attributes of a reposado than an Anejo. The agave and oak flavors are there but faint, the peppery heat overpowers them. It good but leave the fancy flute glass or snifter in the cabinet, for me it’s not a sipper.

NOM 1137 | The nose is filled with agave and alcohol vapors. Taste is subtly sweet filled with oakiness and cooked agave. The sip is completed with a bumpy finish with alcohol vapors rising through the floorboard of your vintage truck. Beautiful looking bottle.

NOM 1137 | This anejo is NOT a sweet one. It preserves a lot of agave flavor, which can be a bit skunky in this case, but enjoyably so. I'd call this one a "smooth skunk" with a hint or two of almonds and maybe butter. I recommend it if you want one in your collection to contrast sweet ones.

NOM 1137 | Really smooth Anejo, enjoyed it neat. I got notes of almond flavor. Really lovely.
