A solid value for a mixer, with cooked agave and black pepper; quite a bit of heat from the alcohol and pepper. A short finish, but makes a solid ranch water.
NOM 1522 | Tres Agaves is an amazing mixing tequila! It’s also at such a great value price. Highly recommend for any and all tequila cocktails needing a Blanco.
NOM 1614 | This has a subdue agave aroma, flowers, mint, orange, and lemongrass on the nose. Pepper, mint, orange, citrus and lemongrass on flavors. Finish with lots of mint and some agaves, medium to short
strong agave notes and mixed pepper spices
The smell is mostly agave with hints of citrus, pear, and mint, while the taste is pleasant notes of papper and grassy vegetal.
NOM 1614 | So on the nose it’s bright, lemon, mint, clean, mineral, maybe some vegetal in back. Subtle odors. Taste is smooth, lemon pepper bite, grassy, good clean agave. No lingering bitterness. For the price it really is a very good non additive juice. Sipped neat at room temp or mixed into a favorite cocktail the Organic Blanco out of 1614 is worth every penny. Grab a bottle or two.
NOM 1614 | Aroma: prominent alcohol scent with light caramel sweetness and agave Taste : mostly sweet not really any particular sweetness though maybe a little bit of peppery notes maybe some sort of mineral Finish: alcohol finish with slight sweet linger With a price of 23 dollars it’s a decent shot tequila, an ok sipper, and a good mixer
NOM 1522 - limited aroma with light fruit. Flavor has much more pepper than I'd like. Can't detect much else. Bitter finish. Would work in a margarita but not the best sipper from this NOM. Got some notes of honey and agave and pollen after glass was empty and aired out a little.
Pure, earthy agave flavor, with the bite you'd expect from a good Blanco. A quality tequila for a very reasonable price.
NOM 1614 | strong citrus sweeter scent ethanol
good mixer ok sipper. Tres agaves definitely fills a budget tequila niche.
NOM 1522 | I enjoyed this bargain no additive tequila as a sipper. Had great citrus agave smell. Descent clean taste with no lingering afterburn.
NOM 1614 | Soft. Pleasant
Tres Agaves Tequila Blanco Organic is an exceptional expression that embodies the true essence of a well-crafted tequila at a good price. Its organic nature adds a touch of sustainability to the spirit, aligning with modern preferences. Upon tasting, one is greeted with a smooth and inviting aroma, leading to a delightful palate filled with the sweet, cooked agave flavors complemented by subtle citrus and herbal notes. The clean and crisp finish leaves a satisfying and lingering impression. Tres Agaves Tequila Blanco Organic is a must-try for tequila enthusiasts seeking a high-quality, eco-conscious option that delivers on both taste and ethical values.
Nose is very strong with the alcohol up front, but underneath you can detect the agave and even some crushed pepper. The taste was much better than the nose suggested. The pepper and even some mint notes really shine through once it's on your tongue and in your mouth for a bit. Not a very complex flavor overall and the finish is somewhat forgettable, but this earns points for value. Got a bottle for less than $30, which is a great bargain for what I would say is an overall pretty good quality tequila. I'll probably use this for my mixed drinks at parties.
NOM 1614 | Aroma: agave and light alcohol Taste: crisp agave, light pepper, maybe some citrus Finish: short and somewhat peppery Overall: not very complex, but a solid budget sipper (I picked it up for $24 on sale). Probably great for mixing
NOM 1614 | First I’m a bourbon drinker starting my journey into tequila. I got this tequila for cocktails because the price point was good for mixing. I always try my new to me tequila’s or any liquor neat. This pour has a funky smell (don’t know what great tequila should smell like). The taste on the tongue is pepper nothing citrus to me. No burn on the back side. Overall good for mixing and neat if you like a tequila with a pepper profile.
NOM 1614 | Has a strange funk on the nose. It is very tasty and sweet though with hints of agave, vanilla and caramel. It goes down smoothly and you do get an alcohol/spice kick on the end. If it wasn’t for the funky smell I get, then it would be rated higher for me. Not sure if maybe I just don’t enjoy blancos as much.
NOM 1614 | Nose is fun. Taste evolves with food especially cooked jalapeños, which pop an immediate cooked onion taste and buttery mouthfeel, followed by a lemon peel cleanse, ending with a black pepper sizzle and jalapeño spicy (from the jalapeño lol). Can’t wait to mix it!
NOM 1614 | Very smooth great in my first margarita
NOM 1614 | After warming up to this organic Blanco, comparing it with the Añejo qualities, I’m beginning to appreciate the more raw essence of agave. Now to discover those Blanco and Reposado varieties that garner high community accolades to compare. I’m very much enjoying this new style of tasting, having been a mixed Tequila drinker for years. A hearty thank you to all who are aiding my journey by adding your own personal ratings, it’s been beyond helpful. I’ve got a band of wine Sommelier friends coming over in a couple of weeks to give their brand of tasting on about 15 bottles. Can’t wait!
NOM 1614 | Nose: Agave, grapefruit and pepper Flavor: Agave, pepper and citrus. Finish: Medium finish Great in a Paloma or margarita
NOM 1614 | A little more bite and alcohol when sipping but the finish is nice. Great for cocktails and I didn’t mind sipping. Way better than Cuervo but nowhere near Ocho or El Tesoro.
Just ok, wouldn’t buy again

NOM 1614 | Lacks complexity, but i do appreciate the agave taste that comes through. Alcohol is also prevalent. Solid additive free but not anything exciting to sip on. Would prefer cimarron to sip but this may make a better mixer
