I’m sure this has a calling making a specific cocktails in selected market but as far as drinking on its own I would recommend you steer clear. Cloyingly sweet, tastes like someone watered down amarone and mixed it with tequila.

Very interesting, intense Anejio I think? Achieved with li Hing spice which is simply dried plums, so it has rich but somewhat cloying sweet sensation from aroma to flavor. Think its strength like its repo chili infused lies somewhere in mixology. Bartenders are going to have a blast using these in Margaritas. If you want an excellent sipper, try their Blanco. Salud

I rate this tequila for what it is, not what it isn't. If I am looking for classic tequila, no. This is not your ticket. However, sitting on Waikiki or in a rooftop bar in Singapore and you want a Ranch Water that fits the vibe at dinner? Top Choice! I was introduced to this at Waikiki and on that beach this was a cocktail to remember. It made the moment better and memorable. What more can you ask of a tequila? Don't overthink it!

I’m born and raised in Hawaii and I love li hing Mui. The taste of the tequila is quality and fun to drink. I have nothing bad to say about this and would totally recommend if you want something a little sweeter but still agave forward and different. Awesome bottle to buy especially if you’re in Hawaii visiting

Sweet smell with a salty sweet taste from the Li Hing flavoring. For me the Li Hing is overpowering for the tequila. Definitely an acquired taste.
