Definitely kept the Ocho pedigree by having that agave bomb off the nose, far more herbaceous that I’ve had in previous vintages. Short and dry(yep, not idea how?!) finish that leaves you wanting more. Another gem from an iconic brand.

Agave, vanilla, peppery and slightly lactic/cheese nose. Sweet, natural agave flavor and mineral, lasting finish. Nice, oily mouthfeel. Tasty!

Nose: Quite complex. Pepper, cinnamon, strong floral notes, mint, minerals and hints of vanilla. Lactic funkiness, but with a twist of citrus. Flavors: Black pepper, honey, anise, vanilla and earthy root vegetables. Nice caramelized agave throughout.

As usual for Ocho, this is delicately aged and honors the cooked agave that makes tequila what it is. Agave still dominates (thankfully!) but it has just a tiny bit of vanilla and caramel to round it out. Flavor is also full of agave, and a little bit of spice. Nicely done, not overdone!
