Nose: sweet roasted agave, champagne, minerals, butter, herbal, thyme. Palate: pineapple, sweet roasted agave, brine/salt, black pepper, almond, citrus. Finish is medium-long with lots of agave and balanced pepper. Good stuff! Top Notch

Nose: Light agave and mild citrus with a hint of minerals. Taste: Fresh agave, bright citrus; lime. White pepper and a mineral brine. Finish: Crisp and clean with a nice alcohol tingle.

Aroma : Cooked agave with herbal, vegetal notes and some earth and mineral tones. Flavor : Tons of creamy, sweet cooked agave with butter, vanilla, and nutty undertones. There is also some pepper, cinnamon, and baking spices. This is the right amount of spice and sweetness, with a full-flavored oily mouthfeel. Finish : Long lasting with a more mineral quality than the initial taste, slightly bitter.

Aromas of cooked agave, wet earth, and minerals. Sweet, rounded agave and mineral taste with a light, lingering finish. For a high proof (49% abv) it is highly drinkable and feels very authentic.

Lote 1 bottle 608 Nose: Ripe tree fruit. Lime, citrus rind, bold caramelized ripe agave, root vegetables, earthiness and river rocks. Somewhat floral. Some herbal notes present: thyme and rosemary. Flavor: The mouth feel is explosive. It is teeming with pepper and brown spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, enfolded in big buttery agave slathered vanilla/almond creaminess. Almost salty. Finish isn’t as complex as the aromas & flavor. A hint of bitterness lingers.

Grand Dovejo high-proof Blanco is one of the best available. The phenomenal buttery sweet cooked agave and natural taste is outstanding. I put this in the upper echelon of high-proof natural Blancos.

This is a fantastic example of how good a high-proof tequila can be. Boatloads of agave, done right. Buy a case of this stuff!

Agave first and foremost. Then a light pear sweetness, subtle pepper, earthy minerals, and more agave. Slow, sweet warmth on the finish. Incredible.

Heavy agave on the nose. Almost overpowers other aromas of earth, grass, herbs. Delicious agave flavor that lingers and evolves to apple/pear on the long drawn out finish. You’re going to want to sit and wait with this one and let it all come to you. It’s worth it.

Very good high proof blonco that’s light on the palette and not a lot of heat.

Strong notes of alcohol and agave on the nose. Long finish of mineral, butter, and agave. Really an interesting and complex high proof!

Very clean and warm. First time trying this brand. I like it. Aroma is nice with roasted agave and minerals. Taste has more of the roster agave, minerals and a smooth, light sweetness. This is the best part. Finish is fine and long but with a little alcohol burn. All in all, it’s very even and tasty. And it’s well priced for what you get!

You can tell this is high proof but the alcohol is not over whelming. The agave and pepper are accentuated and it has a nice mineral taste to it. Beautiful aroma as well. At about $50 it's a really good value.

I’ve tried lots of still strength/over-proof Blancos ... this is the most memorable. 1414 magic!

This is excellent! (Lot P13, bottle# 327) The high proof really delivers this tequila from start to finish. Lots of sweet agave, great mouthfeel, and exiting finish. For $45 bucks, this is Number 1!

Clearly a quality spirit but a bit too harsh for me in the high-proof expression. More pleasant when watered down a bit and with a drop or two of lime juice.

Hot damn! Delicious. Earthy nose with agave and fruity notes and a tiny bit of minerality. Butter explodes on the palate, followed with sweet agave and a hint of almonds. Finish is agave and almond. There’s no burn, but there’s definite heat present throughout. Easily worth the price and I highly recommend.
