A solid & clean Tequila. On can notice right away that it was produced very naturally, without the use of any additives etc. in order to please the tequila novice. Minerals and soil are very present, so much that it reminded me for second of mezcal.

As always, lightly aged by design. This reposado has a loads of agave and some strong black pepper notes. Some interesting mineral notes that I don't usually taste in Ocho as the pepper loses its hold on the tongue. Finish is a little short and fades to neutral, not sweet or bitter. 07/06/2018

Earth, agave, and wood scented with a little alcohol as well. Pleasantly (mild) sweet flavor with prominent butterscotch. Medium to oily bodied. Only a slight burn but a nice long, complex finish with agave throughout. Very enjoyable expression. I'll be coming back to this again and again.
