1990s plata version from (tall blue frosted bottle) NOM856 Todd hunter import Not so much in the nose but agave was present, Earthy flavors stranded out in the front end, expected more heat at the end. Over all a good sipper

No NOM stated, this is a transparent bottle with a blue cactus in the middle, in the front it states: Created by Ponciano Porfidio Destilería Porfidio S.A. Puerto Vallarta Jalisco. Single-Agave triple distilled Plata. Spirit of Mexico 39.5% abv. Beyond Tequila Súper-Jalisco triple distilled from 100% agave. Rear label states: Producto Mexicano envasado en La Unión Europea importado por Flabio Francisco Ramirez Zermeño, Sierra Madre Oriental 116, Col. Bosques C.P. 20127, Aguascalientes. This was imported into Mexico and has a 2011 marbete, tasted on 2-25-24. Aroma: raw agave, light aromatic green vegetal note, light acidity, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes sweeter, slightly minty, clean & crisp. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, agave note is more intense and sweeter on the palate, good sweet & sour balance. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave, green vegetal notes, good sweet and sour balance persists.

NOM 1462 | Mexican 40% abv. triple distilled versión, marbete is from 2003. The bottle is a blurry turquoise color without a cactus in the middle. Aroma: strong herbal, oregano, light metallic & plastic aroma that softens but is still present after 30 minutes in the glass, alcohol sensation is high. Light raw agave note. Palate: strong ethanol, through retronasal I smell fermented agave inside a fermenting tank, ends bitter. Finish is medium to medium long, ethanol, fermented agave with a hint of raw agave note persist.

Flores Mex Rest - Austin This bottle has been sitting on the shelf since they opened 10 years ago. Not sure if that information tricked my mind to smell mustiness at first sniff. Same on second and third sniffs. Taste is almost pure alcohol. Bottle had a pink colored bottom and no NOM on the label.

A bit pricey, but easy and smooth to drink.

It had an interesting aroma... Can't put my finger on it. Nice flavor lots of pepper with a smooth finish. When thought it's an agave spirit and bit a tequila it's good 2013 vintage only 1000 bottles made
