Smells great, tastes falls way short, too bad because the repo was in the right track.

There's some sweet barrel notes, but it's under a lot of alcohol heat. On the palate, the barrel flavors and alcohol heat are about equal. It's got heat going down as well. Its most redeeming quality is its price, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. For a set of value expressions, I would recommend the Don Cosme line for the same price, but a little more refined all around.

Aromas of baked agave, wood and vanilla. A combination of wood, sweet agave and baked apple flavors. Medium to oily body with a sweet and rather short finish.

I need to start researching NOM before I try new things. At first sip I felt a familiar taste. Sure enough this NOM produces Espanita. Highland agave with cinnamon mixed with oak/whiskey is not my thing at all. Syrup finish that lingers just like cough syrup and just as medicinal tasting. How bout NO.

Smells kind of additive-y at first sniff; kind of like Casamigos. But the flavour is much better; fresh, light, bright woodiness that’s kind of reminiscent of fresh-cut cedar. Tingly on the top of the tongue t the finish, with a bit of spice while still sweet.

Sweet nose but doesn’t smell fake to me. Still tastes like Tequila with a good amount of oak. Boozy finish which i love!!! Blind rating.

Meredith doesn’t like the smell but likes the taste. Josh likes the smell but not the aftertaste Don’t swoosh around your mouth is the end suggestion here.

Personally I own over a dozen luchador masks and I’ve shy,d away from trying any bottle with a wrestling mask on it. My instincts were not far off. I loved the smell that has a lot of barrel age and kind of pumpkin spice to it. Going down was another chapter, alcohol and lots of heat! It overpowered anything else. It will go on the shelf with the other lack luster tequilas to serve my friends who don’t care about taste and just want to do shots.

Woody and warming. Nice sipper in the fall - if you can get past the bottle.
