At first the aroma wasn't bad. once I opened it and noticed it was a Twist Off I figured it was a red flag. The first thing I got was Vanilla with some sweetness and pepper, and lots of alcohol. it starts very sharp and ends with the harsh burn. Vanilla and dried fruit. Revisit 2021 and seems a little better.

This does have a sharp, astringent finish but I must be in the mood for that, as I find that I am enjoying this añejo. Oak and barrel spice along with some alcohol add to the bottling.

Aroma is melon and peach. Flavor is fairly flat compared to the reposado. A touch dry and scratchy in the finish, which means it may have spent a little too much time in the barrel.

Intensification of the repo- melon and cinnamon- but it becomes a little astringent in the back. Good oiliness but I prefer the repo.
