Barrel forward expression Notes of whiskey, apple, vanilla, caramel, vanilla, banana nut bread with a spiced up finish.

On first pour I’m smelling caramel, oak, pear, and whiskey, and tasting oak, agave, barrel spice, whisky, cherry, and orange peel. It’s got nice legs in the glass and a medium spicy finish. There’s a fair amount of barrel influence that comes together in a woody spicy combination with a slight bitterness from the wood. I don’t pick up any noticeable additives for sweetness or texture. A bit pricey but a good options for whisky drinkers or anyone who enjoys a spicy woody tequila.

Really delicious Añejo, this could easily go head to head with any of the big tickets XA’s on the market. Not a lot of agave left, it’s mostly barrel influence that makes this shine. Think poor mans Reserva de Familia

Much smoother than the Repo. It almost reminds me a bit of cider. There is a strong note of crisp apple but also has hints of caramel, oak and a bit of cherry. It's very complex and unique. I'm surprised by the flavor after tasting the Repo. I expected it to be even more overwhelmingly oaky but it's not. It's much more balanced and has a nice combo of caramel and oak. This is much better than the Repo.

Sweet caramel and vanilla aroma with hints of banana and pepper. Not a whole lot happening with flavor at first then comes an explosion of flavor (similar to the repo but even more so) that includes the caramel, banana, vanilla and pepper from the nose plus plenty of barrel wood. But, as with the repo, the finish is over quickly (short and sweet you might say...bad pun intended).

Cooked Agave with plenty of oak influences. Toasty wood, vanilla, caramel, toffee and spice notes. Not particularly rich in floral or fruit highlights. Medium weight. Pleasant finish.

lots of alcohol for the aroma, the taste and finish was not particularly great, very alcohol forward as well. The empty glass left slight notes of vanilla.

This tequila has a very good, strong oak flavor with smooth flavors - even a hint of orange!! Very nice!

Nice chocolatey and sweet toffee notes, agave is still present. Thumbs up. More robust, more spice and cask, not as much agave to taste but definitely some undertones.

They should change the name to Dos Tiburon because this tequila has some serious bite to it for an Anejo. Flavor wise, nuts and wood which would be ok if the punch of kerosene like burn wasn’t there.

I excepted this anejo to be all bottle and no juice. I was incorrect. Solid anejo. Nice.
