Nose: First impression brings light “woody” oak, rich agave, and dark dried fruit - primarily raisins, and prunes. Next comes assertive aromas of green cardamom pods and allspice. Vanilla rounds out the nosing. Flavors: Fiery barrel spices and velvety butterscotch juxtaposed. White pepper gives another notch of heat to the profile. There is a slight aftertaste of bitter oak. Finish: Creamy vanilla, caramel and kicking cardamom heat. It catches your attention.

Imported this bottle from an Ebayer 12-15 years ago, now on my 2nd bottle; In fairness, my palate has adjusted from rich anejos to fresh blancos in the last 5 years; nose is fantastic; nice & smooth across the tongue, just too rich & sweet for me now; good value, but not enough agave taste for me;

A true delight on the palate, as memorable as drinking a fine whiskey or brandy. Sweet tequila, a variety of flavor notes are present, vainilla, honey, cinnamon. Oak and a little tobacco are present as well. A complex tequila to taste, but definitely one you will enjoy. A Great choice to finish a nice dinner or business lunch. Extra Añejo 5 years, highly recommendable.
