NOM 1460 | Nose: some agave, lots of alcohol, sweetness, and light citrus Flavor: oily mouth feel, earthy, sweetness that is not natural, and the bitterness of white pepper Finish: medium with some black pepper

I have used this as a home aging base for many years and surprised to see I have never rated this. Bottles is stamped LT100901 dated 250910. Light citrus and some agave on the nose, a nice bit of agave and sweetness on the palate with some citrus rind bitterness, quite viscous on entry this fades on the finish to slight bitterness. It ages well too.

NOM 1460 | Mexican 38% version. $189 pesos. Nose : A rather unassuming nose. Light pepper, agave, citrus, and grapefruit rind. Flavor: Moderate oiliness. Almonds, white pepper with some bitterness. Finish: A slightly odd sweet/ bitter nuance lingers... A budget pleaser.

I find the alcohol too overwhelming to enjoy the other more subtle flavours. On the nose there is a solvent smell to the alcohol. Just not enough agave or flavour profile for me. Other Blancos have more to offer for the same price.

Seems to have a new flavor profile circa May 2023. Stronger wood manifests into white pepper after taste. Body-Mid comprised of orange citrus and bouquet of florals _ leaning white 1/1. Mid-top comprised of almond, caramel, and honey. Has semi-good complexity Overall, maybe slightly below 1/2 that as a good rep/anejo. Its the best Blanco I've had at that price point, and am relatively new... in my alcoholic career... before I seek aa. God Bless America

Woof. Not a sipper. I would only mix with this stuff.

NOM 1460 | A lot of burn with little to no full flavor. Would be good as a inexpensive mixer and not a great sipping tequila.

NOM 1460 | At $14.50 for 750ml, you can't go wrong! A Paloma favorite for the $
