NOM 1479 | Loads of roasted agave on the nose and all the way down the hatch. Well made tequila that’ll I’ll definitely circle back to.

NOM 1479 | Aroma: Very sharp (almost like a high proof tequila) but beyond that is a ton of butter and butterscotch. Smells incredibly sweet. Flavor: A lot different than the aroma. There is a bit of sweetness (caramel) but it's got a bitter note and also slight rubber flavor. Not what I was expecting based off the aroma. Finish: Light to medium. The flavor really falls off and that bitterness is left which isn't the best.

NOM 1479 | NOM 1479 Sweet aroma of citrus and apple with slight floral notes. Flavor is dominated by a crushed stone/earth with just a bit of heat/spice. The stone lingers as a bitter aftertaste...not great. Finish is short. 6/24/2017

Smells like honey and pepper but has a very dry, mineral finish that I find unpleasant.

NOM 1479 | Une tequila très douce et sucrée. Très peu d’alcool au nez et en bouche. Un peu dilué à mon goût. C’est fait pour être aimée!

NOM 1479 | The extra age really wipes most of the minimal character that existed in the blanco. With that being said it still is an easy entry reposado that isn’t overly adulterated.

NOM 1479 | Some sweetness in both the nose and taste that I can't quite put my finger on. A little burn when swallowing that opens up to a sweet lingering flavor.

Alcohol gets in the way of a rich, buttery agave nose. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but features some vanilla & leather flavors. Finish is extended but with an acetone defect. Mixed bag in a pretty bottle :-|

Review #265 - Ambhar Tequila Reposado

The final review of the Ambhar line for me. It's been a bit of a mixed bag so far only because of major taste differences in the blanco and anejo.
