This stuff is punching waaaaay above its weight!! Rich aromas and agave sweetness remain with a damn near perfect barrel collaboration. If this was made in the valley it would be rated in the 90’s!!

Nose: A dusty note with ripe dark berries, vanilla, full agave, and nuttiness. Flavor: Oily. Buttery agave and nice pepper pop, complemented with barrel spices. A white chocolate note sneaks in. Not super complex, but I like it overall.

Fairly abrasive alcohol notes on the front end. Really lingering flavour…lingers a little long to be natural…

LOTE TA7189, marbete is from 2017 but QR code doesn’t state any info. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: vanilla & oak, anise, alcohol sensation is medium to medium high, 30 minutes in the glass I can perceive light cooked agave notes. Palate: vanilla and oak, slightly herbaceous, sweet & sour balance that ends slightly bitter. Cooked agave notes. Toffee & caramel. Finish is medium to medium long, toffee, caramel and light vanilla notes with a hint of cooked agave persist.
