NOM 1503 | Aromas: Lively nose. Ripe dark fruit with abundant agave. Caramel, vanilla, and plentiful barrel spices. There are some sharp mineral notes that provide counterbalance. Flavor: Mixed peppercorn pop. Light treatment on the oak. Zingy spices bring tingle to the palate. Yet there is creaminess in the mouth sensation, provided by almond paste and butterscotch notes. Very affordable quality Reposado for $350 pesos.

NOM 1121 | Wow. The old version (NOM 1121) is pretty damn impressive. If you spot this anywhere, grab it. You can taste it at Cantina Mayahuel in San Diego.
