Since 1959, additive free. This is a delicious sipper.

I liike this. Not sweet per se this has an agave sweetness layered onto the barrel elements which add their wood notes of tree fruit, spice, toasted oak to the overall profile.

Like 80% of the reposado rare for 1/3rd of the price, it scratches the same itch for wonderfully aged tequileño. Would recommend anytime and whiskey lovers seem to dig it.

Definitely profiles more barrel than agave, but it’s really amazing. Caramel and nutmeg, this is all I’m going to drink this Christmas

Nose: Subtle, somewhat timid aromas abound. Spice and round fruit notes to begin. A warm allspice, cinnamon and clove spice blend. Citrus, dark cherries and ripe peaches. A leather and vanilla aroma. A light pepper that has a sweet nuance. A hint of butterscotch. Flavors: The flavors are more robust than the nosing. Fruit, dried fruit, spice and nuts: filberts and walnuts. Orange peel and salty toffee. It has building pepper and cinnamon heat that carries a punch, but backs off pretty quickly. Perfect amount of oak presence for my tastes. This has great balance and is my favorite expression of the new Round Bottle releases.

Fruit, dried fruit, vanilla, raisin, oak aromas. Oak, barrel spice, and vanilla flavor. Finish is spicy, with leather, and has a black pepper ending.

Aromas of dried pitted fruit (apricot, plum), whisky, slight clove. Nice, rich mouthfeel, honey taste with a surprising tobacco finish. A mix of 2 yr and 6 yr aged tequilas.

Oak, vanilla, caramel, agave, pepper, butterscotch, toasted nuts, and a touch of apple. Great legs. When in the mood for a rich sweet Añejo, this is hard to beat.

Aroma: Cooked agave, oak, traces of vanilla. Taste: Slightly sweet across the palate with more noticeable vanilla flavor. Finish: Stronger flavors of agave and oak on the finish, with a smooth alcohol bite and minerality, slight brine flavor. Overall: An excellent añejo that provides a true additive-free sweet agave and vanilla flavor.

Very glad I pulled the trigger on this. Both the nose and palate are much lighter and more mellow than other anejo’s I’ve had, but that’s what makes this so amazing. Delicate oak, faint spice, soft caramel/vanilla, a wonderful floral side/plenty of agave, earthiness, and a very unique tropical fruit note (guessing the mango tree yeast influence). An incredible 2-6 year anejo blend that is far more approachable than syrupy/dessert-like anejos/extra anejos.

A well balanced, straightforward anejo. Checking all the usual boxes of well managed oak influence. Riding shotgun is caramel, vanilla, dried fruits, threads of bitter, cinnamon spice. Agave is in the back seat but along for the ride.Black pepper is back there too. I don’t mind driving these guys around at all. In fact, let’s take the scenic route!

This is an okey Anejo with a light nose and nice long finish. Very pleasant. I get vanilla and wood on the nose, along with some pleasant agave on the palate. The finish is a bit peppery, but nice and long and warm with a delicate hint of smoky sweetness.

If Christmas was a tequila it would be this one! I absolutely love this one. It gives you that hint of agave sweetness and hint of spice with beautiful notes of nutmeg and caramel along with vanilla. If you can’t drink tequila straight than try it with a fresh squeeze of orange. This is a great follow up to the reposado showing what longer aging can do.
