This the new 3 barrel blend añejo release. Bottled 08/19/2023. Nose: Spices, citrus, and black cherry. Nutmeg, baking spice, mint and minerals. Fruity, fresh, agave driven with warm, embracing barrel notes. Flavor: Medium pepper punches through to the back palate. Ripe red orchard fruits and berries. Medium viscosity. Sweet and gently spiced. Not overly oaky. All delivered in a rounded, satiny flavor package. Medium long finish. This is a very small run, and MSRP is at an astonishingly attractive price.

This añejo is the best of the line. Lightly aged and lightly complex. Not a bad price point for a daily...

Very good! Prefer the reposado slightly more. Lots of good flavors, agave, cinnamon, vanilla, caramel. Worth the money for sure!

This begins with cooked, sweet agave and finishes with agave and pepper. Very easy with no burn. This is difficult to find and if you see any of the Tau line up, purchase them. I found the blanco and the anejo in dust covered boxes at a small liquor store. I brought back the Mexican version from a trip 2 years ago and have been looking everywhere. This is a lovely tequila to share.

I don't know why so many others are saying negative things about this. I get pine resin and good funk on the nose. First pour and I don't smell or feel the strong alcohol presence that others are talking about. Taste is different but wonderful. Very fruit forward taste. Not much agave present but thats hard to find in an Añejo. If you see this buy it. It won't change your life but you will enjoy it and try something new.

De un tequila “añejo” se esperan vainillas más marcadas y notas más dulces. El amargor al final es notable y las cabezas de la base se siguen sintiendo. En aroma es notable el caramelo, el cual no parece natural o en caso de serlo es por caramelización en cocción resultado de una hidrolisis mal lograda. Sí volvería a tomar este tequila en caso de contar con pocas opciones disponibles y a precio accesible. No es una mala experiencia. Sin embargo, se queda corto con un verdadero añejo.

Oooh I love this. Both the flavor and aroma are funky with some oak, bananas, barrel spice, and agave. This tequila reminds me of some Jamaican rum but with agave. Even though I rarely mix with añejos, I’d love to try this in a Tiki cocktail.

Strong aroma. too sweet. so fruity I would have guessed something was added. I had to smell a few times to see if I was mistaken as it caught me off guard compared to their blanco and rep. too much banana and oak. not enjoying this but giving points for a quality creation but not to my liking.

Nose is pretty thin for an Añejo, little bit of carmalized banana, French vanilla. Basically bananas foster minus the cinnamon. I found the mid palette a touch one note for me, but the finish comes with a nice bit of heat and spice that finishes well.

Aroma intenso a Agave y un ligeo aroma a alcohol. Sabor a agave enfrente citrico y mineral, termino ligero. Me recuerda un poco a tequila ocho Potrero Grande. Intense agave nose and a hint of acohol. Nice agave taste, citric and mineral, short finish. It reminds me Tequila Ocho Potrero Grande.
