Smells like I just walked into a bakery, my mouth immediately started watering, smells like a fresh eclair. Turns out it also tastes like an eclair, crème anglaise, vanilla, butter, pastry, everything except agave.

This one is just ok for me, after you let seat for a few minutes you get some agave, caramel, and alcohol. In the taste you get some sweet notes but in a artificial way. It goes down without a burn but no that crazy.

Chocolatey scent, oak and butterscotch flavour with a really smooth finish!

Nose: Heavy vanilla and caramel, like Tuaca Palate: More sweetness, little to no agave Finish: Surprising alcohol burn to finish it off. Some grassy notes, strangely enough. Overall this is very sweet, and very unrefined tequila, and very additive heavy at that. It is unsurprising for a celebrity tequila. I did not know it was a celebrity tequila, but I purchased it on clearance, and would not pay more than I bought for it (even that was expensive)

Smooth, great intro to a higher quality tequila for people who are used to drinking low quality commercial tequilas. Nose vanilla and low agave. Flavor smooth and mellow vanilla butter scotch definitely tastes like some additives. Finish quick and mellow, light black pepper. Avg value, there are better tequilas without additives for $50

Villa One Reposado is a pleasant sipper, albeit an additive laden spirit. Priced at $50 (virginia abc), it's priced similar to comparable reposados. Nose: Very light. Vanilla, butterscotch, cooked agave and vanilla up front. A hint of oak, butter and citrus. Palate: A mild viscous mouthfeel with a little warmth. Carmel, butterscotch, and cooked agave. Additives, sure. But it's a pleasant sipper nonetheless. Finish: Short on the finish.

Smells heavy of alcohol and vanilla. Has an artificial taste that stays on the tongue. Finish is a bit harsh.

Heavy vanilla, butterscotch... no burn, but still a decent finish. Tastes like it has additives (as expected), but not too overpowering as to ruin the experience. In the realm of celebrity tequilas, I’d say it’s above average, but still slightly overpriced. Reminds me of Casamigos before it got bought by Diageo, which is to say tasty but sweet... I prefer it to current Casamigos. Decent dessert tequila or for a friend who wants something sweet & easy to drink.

Carmel, agave, butterscotch

I’ll drink it... but I don’t like the flavoring additions. Hard vanilla extract on the back end... tastes like someone botched a move and got dropped on their head.

I think the reposado is a much better tequila in flavor and value over the Anejo. The faint hints of flavor for me was more vanilla than the butterscotch and Carmel that others have detected. As for the “additives” people claim they use? Well I don’t know about that, but we enjoy things everyday with additives we know nothing about, so if you like it who cares. I think this is a very enjoyable, smooth tequila and I will purchase it again.

Has a very smooth finish and very little burn. More herbal than fruity. For the price there is a lot of value here.

For starters the bottle is nice. In the glass it's a a tad dark for a reposado. Legs are there but thin, tears hang on a lot more. First nosing gave me a hint of anise and some sweetness. Let it breathe and got oak instead but still had the sweetness. Tasting gave me most of the same, a little oak, sweetness and butterscotch. This is not offensive by any means as I suspect they might use most of the 1%. My guess this is aimed at the nightclub scene.
