too much chocolate (cocoa) presence in the nose and taste. The nose also shows pine, alcohol, vanilla, light citrus, and it's creamy and earthy. Not my type nose. The taste gets about the same, with some vegetal and little bit of a sour bitter note. Overall an average tequila.

Nose is bright and vegetal. The vegetal follows through on the pallet. It's very easy to drink but left me unimpressed. Would be great for shooting and it's a fine sipper but does not wow me

On the nose, sweetness and a bit of tropical fruit. A touch of saline/brininess, but that fruity note is just really sticking out to me right now. Floral, and then the cooked agave is coming through. From the nose, I’m anticipating a very sweet, aromatic tequila. Definitely some ethanol but it doesn’t burn, it just has that particular ethanol smell. I feel like there’s pineapple in there, I think that’s the main fruit note I’m getting. On the palate, very silky mouthfeel, and I’m instantly hit by those floral and fruity notes. It’s very rich and silky, I want to even say smooth. A little bit nutty almost. Oily, it definitely coats the mouth nicely. Finish is nonexistent for me. Interesting, it’s not bad at all but I don’t find it particularly exciting. Definitely very drinkable.

Slightly different mouth feel, taste and finish. No copper in the distillation, all s/s. Good marks for price and bottle.

NOM 1468 | Side by side comparison with previous NOM 1627 After sitting in the glass a bit or more after the pour the sweet smell of lychee is still dominant to me stacked with a potent aroma that reminds me of sweet cigar tobacco. Zesty lime, agave, and light pepper unfurl behind the initial aromas, stone becomes more present with a nutty creaminess as well. On the tongue is an initial gripping of peppery heat that fades away pleasantly and I get agave, orange, a small pleasant buttery taste that’s coats the tongue, some brine and wateriness. The dry down for me is of faint grapefruit, and white grape champagne. I like the taste more than the smell, which affected the rating but overall this is an interesting blanco worth exploring.

NOM 1627 | Side by side comparison with current Nom 1468: After sitting in the glass for a bit, there is sugary, butteriness, faintly soft sweet agave smell, nutty creaminess, fresh citrus, brine and alcohol. On tasting there's is nearly no noticeable heat but cooked agave, butterscotch, alcohol and creamy toffee strikes my palate immediately and skips away leaving spicy pepperiness, alcohol and grassiness on the dry down. This blanco is straight to the point and will have you coming back to examine its nuances. I prefer this NOM over the newer.

This was ok, wouldn’t drink again on purpose. Not what a premium Blanco should taste like. Too much sweetness, vanilla for me, finish was all alcohol. Much better choices out there.

Meh. Nose is decent, nothing special. Not much mouth feel. Some agave and chocolate(?) on the palate but taste is a bit watered down and mostly alcohol. Almost no finish at all.

Alcohol aroma. Flavor has pepper and agave. The best part of the juice. The finish is pepper and burn. Not impressed. You will notice that all those 100 scores, which change the averages, are all from people who have 1 or tastings. Did they do the tastings at Cabo or BevMo? Be wary of the high scores.

Rich, earthy agave on the nose and palate. Slight lactic thing going on. Olive, floral, citrus & butter. Creamy mouthfeel. Some heat. Nice flavor … not much on the finish.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of this Tequila. Absolutely NO throat burn on the way down. Pleasant flavors such as a subtle pineapple and citrus. I will be recommending this to my friends and family.

Really smooth, nice aroma, better than the expensive brands or other cristalinos and yet this is a blanco, it’s a must try.

Well balanced for a blanco. Nice aroma of cooked agave, black pepper, citrus & alcohol. Palate opens up, each and every sip with a clean finish.

This Tequila changes my image of Tequila. Can enjoy flavor. No need to drink Shot!!
