Heavy on the alcohol scent wise but luckily it’s not upfront when tasting. Overall a very decent tequila but the reposado is the peak for me.

A very good tequila with notes of cooked agave, dulce de leche, dried fruit, a little pepper, and chocolate. Smooth with a medium to long finish. Not on Fortaleza/El Tesoro/Tapatio/G4/Terralta level.

Aromas of burnt agave and butterscotch. Needs a few minutes to aerate in the glass. First whiff was displeasing, but after just a minute or two, it really opened up. Flavors appear clean and crisp on the palate, but also not really complex. No burn, but also nothing develops on the tongue. Clear citrus, vanilla, and slightly salty...but nothing to really write home about. The finish is where this tequila truly shines...long, deep, and bright. But at roughly $120 a bottle, there are much better contenders in the market. Hell...buy two bottle of Fortaleza Blanco, your money will be much better spent.

Wow, I really enjoy this tequila. A little fruity, agave on the nose, earthy subtleness on the younger with just the right moth feel. It hasn't been overpowered by the oak, but it does finish with a little vanilla and even smaller sweetness. This what I've been looking for in an extra anejo. (And I've tried many) I will purchase this again to share with friends and family. Yes, I enjoy it that much. YMMV.
