The nose is where this tequila misses the mark, the taste is decent but the value proposition is no the best.

I had This a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised. Cooked Agave, mint, citrus, earthy, Bubble yum, minerals, nice viscosity. Great blanco for under 39 bucks in LA.

LOTE: CBN 300 03/08/19 L2 Numero 2210/3719 Warming initial nasal impact. Aroma of green agave, citrus and floral. Slight warming and soft initial mouthfeel. Flavor is predominantly green agave, citrus and bubblegum. Some olive brine on the retro nasal. Very short finish with moderate pepper. There is an odd aftertaste here for me (inherent of NOM 1438), but probably the best blanco out of the huge 1438 portfolio (however the bar is low from this NOM)

Exceptionally soft and balanced, I don’t remember being blown away by this my first time around but it’s really great juice!

Lime and citrus on the nose, pleasant and nose packs some punch. Agave and pepper, short finish with some heat. Solid blanco

The aroma presents a combination of vanilla and floral notes, with a reduction in the initially pronounced ethyl scent observed on the first night. This is accompanied by a subtle hint of freshness, minerality, and a recurring floral aroma, alongside a touch of sea salt. On the palate, flavors of vanilla and caramel are prominent, complemented by nuances of salted butter, rubbing alcohol and a persistent floral note. There is also additional notes of cooked sweet potato, berry, yellow pear, and a hint of tanginess reminiscent of artificial fruit. A light brine, nearly dill, presence is also consistent. A very perfumed taste I don’t care for. The finish lingers with vanilla and light brine flavors, accompanied by subtle spices, fading sweetness and a notably fresh exit.

Not bad. Aroma has a lot of floral sweetness. Interesting. The taste is what I would call. confused. It’s trying to be floral and earthy and peppery all at the same time. It doesn’t seem to go together. The finishes OK

Unfortunately I believe that my review is based on the fact my bottle was from NOM 1438. Almost no nose but flat alcohol and hardly any flavor to mention. It did mix fine in a margarita.

NOM 1438. Good balanced blanco. Doesn't have the bright green vegetal minerality profile I like. It's softer overall but still has some minerality towards the end.

Nose is irregular; vegetal in a medical way. Body is neutral to uneven, agave is present but tamped down by heat and a green, semi-cleaning product tertiary presence. Finish is hot, long, and not overly enjoyable. This is a miss for me, unfortunately.

Hmmm…the initial smell was tequila- nothing stood out except alcohol. After it sat out a little it really developed aromas of wet agave- citrus- anise- it smelled very nice. The taste- first one was a good tequila…and alcohol…after a little while the flavor became much more complex. Delicious agave…light citrus with hints of earth and some flowery earth undertones- delicious.. A month later- this is incredibly delicious. Strong wet agave- light pepper- alcohol smell has diminished…on the palate- wet agave- pepper- white pepper- nice burn with a silky aftertaste…this has really improved with some time.

Agave forward. Pepper and earthy tones. Is a mix of high and low land. Has the earthiness of the lowland and the smoothness of the highland. A couple invested all their money into the business coming from AB, Canada. Alcohol

Nom 1438- blanco- getting cooked agave and herbal notes- not too sweet, good mouth feel and good finish with slight pepper. I tried in a batanga (lime, coke and shot of tequila) but felt the herbal notes punched through more than the agave.
