This product exists to get 100% agave into the faces of the masses and I appreciate the reach but that’s where the appreciation ends. The nose is pleasant enough but the flavour and finish are rubbish, tastes like someone used chemicals to make something that resembles tequila.
Nose had slight acetone with some fruit. Taste was light to medium oil, slight acetone taste, tangy. Not high quality, it's no sipper, but ok for mixing.
shooter. kinda sweet.
citrus, sweet, alcohol, shooter
Started drinking Paloma’s and this mixes well, not a fan of it on its own
Strong alcohol taste mixed with pepper and a slight fruit/citrus taste. Little to no agave. At the price I might mix it but there are better options even at this price.
This is a pretty good tequila for the price. It has a very good agave taste; will go well on margaritas.
If you just want to get drunk with tequila and are not concerned whatsoever with taste.
Pepper and astringent alcohol on the finish. In my opinion only, this is a tequila for someone who wants to get drunk, not for someone who wants to appreciate the art of tequila distillation. I am just starting out, so take this with a grain of salt.
Very earthy flavor Unfortunately comparable to mulch
Smell is not great at all. Taste leaves much to be desired.
Why?
good for margaritas or palomas.
if you need a shooter but diffuser made tequila. Altos any day over Hornitos
Bad
Not a particularly interesting product. No memorable notes and none of the excitement of other Tequilas at this price point.
harsh finish
Bought as a cheap tequila party addition. Didn’t like at first...but tried again and not bad. Has a grassy smell but agave and sweeter taste.
Lots of alcohol, citrus and fresh agave on the nose. black pepper, jalopeño and fake fruit in the mouth. More alcohol, varnish and caramel citrus in the finish.
At a concert, this is the only tequila served; from the nose to the 1st sip, I knew right away, “autoclave.” Nothing on the one; metallic taste; no emotion, no soul; no matter the price, you overpay;
OK in a margarita.
As a beginner to appreciating Tequilas on a deeper level; this one has been my favorite. It’s smooth, tastes good, and priced well. Patron has always been what I have known tequila to be measured against, and I have always like Hornitos more. Update: Lowered score considerably since trying other recommended brands from this app. Fortaleza is my new standard.
It's drinkable, but that's about it.
Cooked agave aroma, but very alcoholic. Pepper and pear taste. Slightly sweet finish. An underrated low-dollar Blanco.

Not complex. A lot of alcohol flavor
