This is one of the best blancos I’ve had. I’m a huge fan of the brand and this is another winner in the line up. I get a ton of agave and its got a creamy mouthfeel. Higher proof is there but very refined and not over powering. This is definitely worth purchasing once available. I look forward to seeing how this evolves from Lote to Lote.

Clean, bold agave flavors dominate this exceptional tequila blanco. Bright citrus, cinnamon, and anise lead the way while the velvety mouthfeel envelopes your palate. Once the mid-palate arrives is just a rush of cooked agave! A true ride that remains long, warm, and complex. This tequila is for agave purists with the highest of standards.

Nose: The fragrance of buttered toast covered with dark brown sugar, then lightly sprinkled with cinnamon. A snappy bombardment of carbonic acid-like minerals, a dollop of the signature #1123 funk and the aroma of fully ripened honeydew melon. A mellow undercurrent of green peppercorns, powdered ginger and dill weed. Flavor: Entrance pops with fiery white pepper; and anise delivers a backup punch. Yet, it’s a silky heat. It is oozing caramelized agave richness. A bevy of spices ping around the palate, piggybacked atop thick buttery viscosity. Subtle fruit and floral components: mango, melon and green banana; honeysuckle and sweet citrus blossoms. A vibrant multi sensory flavor experience - soon to be the agave lover’s holy grail.

Nose: Agave, floral, fruity, mineral, peppery — has it all! One of the best aromas on a Blanco I’ve come across in a while. Taste: Agave, minerals, white pepper. Creamy mouth, with a nice medium-long tingly finish in mouth (not chest), with great legs clinging to my glass.

This is a great rustic and real reposado. Still plenty of agave here with vanilla, nuts, and hay on the nose. Flavor is thick and oily agave and slight oak with vanilla. Finish is super pleasant and dangerous, making you want to keep drinking it. This is small batch stuff, and it shows.

Nose: A blast of “just out of the horno” agave. Bold, light colored tree fruit aromas: green apples and not yet fully ripe mangos. A sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice - and a dash of vanilla caramel. Slightly sour/slightly dry nasal tease of minerals, arid soil and dried grass clippings. A soft touch of leather tinged oak, fading out with citrus blossoms. Flavor: Sweet, peppery and buttery. Palate filling silkiness. Agave just oozing out…. Slightly nutty, slightly salty. Creamy vanilla laced cafe au lait rich sweetness perfectly offset by cardamom, pepper and anise warmth. Finish: A decadently delicious butterscotch note wends its way into the the final act. Texture, flavor and retrohale make for a memorable finish that lazily dallies along.
