Love this tequila. Perfect for non-stop sipping. Everyone I share this with after the first taste is all smiles. Just a very nice drink.

appearance : light hay color very light for an xa aroma : agave and caramel some oak notes taste : pepper oak with some agave in the background totally lost the agave and caramel on the nose finish : fairly quick finish aftertaste of oak awesome value for an xa but the younger versions especialy the blanco are better. Tastes better out of a shot glass than riedel tequila glass

The aroma is light. I get notes of raw agave and an earthiness (possibly clay). It's definitely vegetal on the nose which makes me think it's going to be more of a traditional Blanco. The flavor isn't as spicy as I was expecting but there is a definite hint of pepper. I also get the raw agave but it has a strong minty note. The finish is strong and lingers nicely for a while.
