Raw agave-forward, super basic profile citrus + alcohol + pepper. Metallic finish and short. Minimum effort profile to be called tequila 100% agave Some fake sweetness, but balanced/controlled… for $20 it’s a good option vs other brands. Mixing time…
Confectionary nose, sweet off the hop then really hot on the back end. Not my favourite profile for sipping but I’m seeing a great margarita match here.
Aroma: ethanol, a little agave, and not much else. Taste: very straightforward and little to no complexity. I’d call it agave, ethanol, maybe some herbal notes. Finish: short but not unpleasant. No last minute kick or anything surprising. Overall: not bad for the price. Definitely not winning awards for complexity, but I’m guessing it’ll make great cocktails.
NOM 1438 cookie cutter tequila. Nothing makes you want another sip
