Aug 18, 2023 Tasted at monroe liquor store Repo: some barrel spice chocolate? coffee? was hard to get a good tasting because I tried a lot in a short period of time from those little tiny plastic tasting cups.

This tequila offers the same amazing a delightful pear aroma of the blanco. The Repo has the same crisp, citrusy, and impeccably smooth taste as the blanco with notes of Carmel and vanilla ( but too much). Its finish is delightful with no harsh bite, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. No doubt my favorite repo. Can’t wait to taste the añejo, that’s next!

Nutty and citrus aromas Carmel and vanilla, earth, toast, banana peel Finish is a touch bitter but fine. Toasty notes still hang in there with burnt citrus

Very slow developing burn. Small cube really helped settle that a bit. Clean and crisp for a repo, no sweetness at all to the flavor..hints of pepper.

My nostrils are dusted from the central texas spring bloom but nothing foul smelling. Not even a heavy alcohol smell. Smells clean and desirable. The flavor is free from the usual vanilla to hide bad flavors. Its a very clean taste. Fresh agave picked at its height. Finishes excellent. Zero burn. Zero throat. Clean with the flavor lasting. I will tell you this… there is a new label and all the bottles coming out are batch 1 with limited production. Same nom. I went to all my local stores and bought every bottle of resposado and anejo i could find. This is a $150 bottle no doubt. This is so clean if we enjoy a bit too much there is zero regret in the morning.
