The addition of candied yam contributes to the overall concentration of flavors, while a creamy body and acidity provide a luxurious mouthfeel. A toasted flavor profile is complemented by intermittent wafts of alcohol. The finish has a lingering sweetness reminiscent of honey and citrus, accompanied by a subtle peppery sensation that enhances the overall palate experience. Despite its presence, the pepperiness is not overwhelming, allowing the sweetness to persist gently on the palate.

Mellow agave, vanilla, cinnamon on the nose. Continues on the palate with a bit of pepper. Medium finish. Okay sipper.

To be clear. This Corralejo is an XA in a different bottle than the one shown. The bottle is not showing on TM so this may be a new venture by this nom. Compared this blind to Terralta XA. No comparison. The Corr is way to sweet. Additives? It has a caramel/butterscotch aroma which comes quickly from the bottle and glass. The flavors and aroma are more of the same. Where is the agave/pepper/cherry? It just seems artificial. Not a satisfactory experience from aroma to finish. This rating is from a previous review before this product was listed.
