Amazing profile, rated highest from a blind tasting Blind tasting notes: Cooked agave, tutti frutti, crisp apple, cider, cooked agave, buttery, light oak, elegance in the barrel tannins, some red fruits akin to cherry. Beautiful profile and definitely is one of my top rated tequilas. Pinnacle of Excellence in vintage tequila.

Beautiful classic stuff. Loaded with cooked agave all over the place. Followed by mocha, butterscotch, cinnamon, berries, citrus, vanilla, yams, dark chocolate, apple pie, so much going on here. Treasure bottle.

Round bottle 750 ml. 40% abv. versión, red plastic twist cap with fun stopper, bottle stamped: L18/R041630R, I was told this version was issued in the 90’s, tasted on 11-20-23. Color: light yellow to yellow. Aroma: cooked agave with medium sweetness, citrus, light orange, herbal, vanilla, light wood note, after 20 minutes in the glass I smell a light soapy aroma. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, soapy aroma is more intense on the palate and is quite aromatic. Light pepper spiciness. Eucalyptus. Finish is medium to long, i feel that the wood & vanilla note are more dominating in the finish, luckily the eucalyptus keeps it fresh, light orange, light cooked agave.
