Nose: Vegetal, herbal green. Flavor: Some agave sweetness. Dominating black pepper heat; with an undercurrent of cilantro and jalapeño. Interesting, not noteworthy.

Lote: L1700902160562, bottled on 24-02-2017, Mexican 35% abv. version, tasted on 10-5-23. Aroma: cooked agave, herbal, light black pepper, slightly minty, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes slightly sweet, earthy. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, ends peppery. Finish is medium to medium long, light raw agave, herbaceous and black pepper notes persist. 20 minutes after I had finished typing the tasting notes, the agave notes become even sweeter and balanced with aromatic green/herbal notes, however it doesn’t follow through on to the palate…

Alcohol forward primary nose that softenes to a solid cooked agave aroma. Balanced, softer flavor that easily pairs with food or good enough to sip. Great finish for if you are enjoying other flavors Great agave taste and no harsh or stringent burn at the back of the throaght. Bargain price, without a sacrifice in taste, plus it is a unique Michoacan product.

This is a Michoacan Blanco and the suave version is sold in Mexico. Long oily legs in the glass. Aroma of raw agave and a hint of alcohol. Flavor of agave but not much of a finish.
