Cazcabel Blanco Tequila at $25-27 USD seems to be a good contender to some brands out there. The nose unfolds with scents of fresh grass, raw agave, and subtle caramel sweetness. Black pepper adds a spicy warmth, the aroma bouquet has a low complexity and herbaceous undertones that lend a touch of earthiness. Upon the first sip, the tequila reveals a robust raw agave flavor, accompanied by notes of caramel that give a balance between sweetness and bitterness. The addition of citrus imparts a refreshing zest, while a subtle astringency towards the back. White pepper intensifies the spicy profile, and a faint metallic sensation (perhaps from the autoclave) adds an intriguing layer to the overall complexity. For the price I think it really provides a good tequila and the bottle design is nice

NOM 1436 | The aroma light fresh citrus grassy - then on the palate truly elegant but still that earthy agave with a little sweet pepper. Well balanced refinement with pleasing complexity. I’d be as happy sipping this but makes a kicking Mexican mule - my new “go to”. The bottle is cool - amazing vfm.

Pleasant aroma, light, grassy, vegetal. On taste, little bit of sweetness and saline at the start, followed by fruit, maybe mango. Chilli pepper on the finish with a hint of bitterness. I don't taste any additives and the bottle states that the agaves are sun baked and crushed by traditional methods. I think this is pretty good and stands up to some of the known additive free brands for a lower price. Update after bottle was opened: Now tasting some vanilla. Not sure if it is from additives but there is a hint of what Casamigos tastes like. Still not bad and I'd take this over Casamigos any day.

NOM 1460 | I’m no expert when it comes to quantifying any beverage. Out of the cheap tequilas I rate this one of the best for flavour. My journey to discovering great ones has only just begun.

NOM 1460 | Lacks a bit of depth, not a sipper. However, it's relatively inexpensive and has an okay but short finish, definitely good enough for mixing.
