No a big fan, the noise was pleasant enough, flavors were metallic, no sign of citrus or cooked agave. Enough said

Aroma: Light alcohol attack which I like along with a complex aroma profile, (agave raw/cooked, grass, earth, citrus, metallic and subtle solvent-like). Its really inviting to sip. It has to be autoclave since metallics notes are continuously present. Only defect found was some solvent/acetone notes, distillers slightly made an error on the cuts. Flavors: Does not taste like it smells It has a sweet amiable entrance, but then mid palate and finish are not what you expect. You’re received by a harsh alcohol attack along with intense spicy notes (black pepper, bell pepper, jalapeño, spiced and briny notes). Following, you get mosto notes (cider/beer) combined with some defects (acetone, lactic, solvent, medicinal). Fermentation & distillation methods need some improvement. Would like to know the distillery approach while developing this profile. (ie. Equipment and Process). Fair note, I’m not familiar with Guanajuato agaves (assuming they’re from this region), eager to learn if that influences on the herbal-like and spice notes. Overpriced… would expect to be in the $25-30 range

Nicemellow blanco. Some agave sweetness and white pepper in the mouth. A medium length finish fades to some lingering sweetness.

Viscous and a bit sweet with a slightly green agave nose.

Aroma of cinnamon red hots. A bit too sweet, but still very drinkable. A thick oily mouthfeel is nice.

Found this one in Patterson CA. Desmadres is slang for a big mess. Great name for tequila. A little alcohol on the aroma and then a lot of complexity. Nice aroma. The taste is the best of pepper and agave that’s a bit sweet. Great taste. Finish is long and nice. Rerate the Blanco

Smooth Finish for a Blanco. No harsh aftertaste. Slight notes of citrus The price point is very good, for what you get!
