Really enjoyed this Añejo, wood doesn’t overpower the juice. It kept its core elements of cooked agave, baking spices, light fruity notes and finished with that whiskey-feel buttery complexity. A must in anyone’s bar.

54.57% / 109.14 proof. Not for the faint of heart! I keep it in the freezer.

a unique tequila for the collector. like other camerena products it's on the shorter side of oak ageing for an Anejo (12 mo). it really opens up with a little resting in the glass. the barrel strength (110) provides a lot of heat on the finish and agave flavor.
