Tequila Herradura's Coleccion de la Casa, Reserva 2014 is reposado indulged: tequila that has matured in charred American oak then rested in single malt scotch casks.
First smell is an oaky caramel smell... definitely from the barrel. Smelling with the mouth open definitely smells just like scotch. Being a whisky drinker before tequila I like the aroma. The taste defiantly have that malty scotch taste. With a decent but of heat In The middle that doesn’t last long. Taste is slight smoke and butterscotch that with a long finish.
